Technique Tuesday - Using the Simply Scored

Hi friends! Its Tuesday and time for another Technique Tuesday post! For today's card, I wanted to do a easy technique using the Stampin' Up Simply Scored scoring tool.  This tool is GREAT for scoring all your projects and making folding so much easier!

Simply Scored - by Stampin' Up!Simply Scored Diagonal Plate

That is the tool! Isn't it cool! It has markings every 1/8th of an inch and divots at the top to place your place markers at.  Sold separately is the diagonal plate that is placed on top to score diagonal lines.  I love them!  Here is today's card:

Pretty cute huh?!  I scored my lines at every 1 inch and placed a basic pearl in the cross of each line.  I have seen this technique before and wanted to give it a try.  I love the way it turned out!  Its hard to see in the picture but below the scallops at the bottom, I used our paper piercing pack to do a scalloped dotted border below it.  I inked the white paper flower and sponged the frame around the saying.  Have a great rest of your Tuesday!
